Jazz Cabaret

The Logansport School Corporation Music Department will be hosting the annual Jazz Cabaret on Wednesday night, April 1st in the McHale Performing Arts Center at 7 p.m.

The Junior High School Jazz Band will open the show, followed by the High School Jazz Band.  The groups will cover a myriad of American musical styles, including Swing, Latin-jazz, Blues and Contemporary.  Bruce Knepper, a 1978 LHS grad, will be featured on Trumpet and Flugelhorn.   Bruce is an in-demand professional trumpet player and recently retired band director from Lafayette Jefferson HS.  Mr. Mike Bowen, also a former band director and local church musician, will also join the band on piano.  Several tunes will celebrate the music of Chuck Mangione.

Tickets are $3 for adults and $2 for children.
