Craft Night at the Movies

Mary Max is starting something completely new and it’s up to you to determine whether it’s a success. Introducing CRAFT NIGHT AT THE MOVIES to be held on the 3rd Tuesday each month (will be suspended during summer months) beginning Feb. 17 at 6pm. Admission is FREE and the first movie will be “Free Guy” (2021) starring Ryan Reynolds. Future movies will be determined by a FB poll.

Things to Keep in Mind with Craft Night at the Movies:
– Be mindful of scraps and trash from your craft. Don’t make a mess! Either bring something to put your scraps in, or be prepared to throw them away before you leave.
– This isn’t a normal movie watching experience. People may quietly chat, have their phones out for patterns, or bring neck lights to help them see.
– That said – be respectful of others! Keep lights and phone screens dim and focused on your craft, avoid shining any lights directly at others, and keep any chatting quiet.
– Be aware of the space your craft will take. Try to bring smaller projects to work on to avoid crowding others if necessary.

We want to keep the theater mess free. Because of this, certain crafts will not be allowed.
Acceptable Crafts
– Crocheting
– Knitting
– Embroidery
– Cross Stitch
– Hand Sewing
– Drawing (pencil/paper or digital)

Unacceptable Crafts
– Painting
– Modeling/air dry clay
– Other inherently messy crafts
