2026 General Election Candidate Debate

The Logansport/Cass County Chamber of Commerce and the Cass County League of Women Voters will host the 2026 General Election Candidate Debate on Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2026, at McHale Performing Arts Center. This year’s debate will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m. and end at approximately 8:00 p.m.

Candidates in all contested races are being asked to participate. The evening will begin with opening remarks/questions for School Board, Eel Township Trustee, Cass County Council, Cass County Sheriff, and State Representatives. Each candidate will be given two minutes for an opening remark. Answers to questions from the moderator will be limited to one minute. The moderator will give each candidate time for a one-minute closing statement.

As in the past, it will be live streamed and recorded.
