Pioneer FFA Plant Sale

The Pioneer FFA Chapter is pleased to announce its upcoming first annual Plant Sale, offering a wide variety of flowers, vegetables, and hanging baskets to the community. The sale will take place at the Pioneer High School Greenhouse on May 5 from 3:00–6:00 p.m. and May 16 from 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

Community members will have the opportunity to purchase high-quality plants grown and maintained by Pioneer students. Available items include hanging baskets, petunias, impatiens, begonias, tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, muskmelon, and watermelon.

This event not only provides locally grown plants at affordable prices but also serves as a valuable hands-on learning experience for students involved in the FFA program. Through this project, students develop skills in plant science, greenhouse management, and customer service while applying classroom knowledge in a real-world setting.

“The plant sale is a great opportunity for our students to showcase their hard work and connect with the community,” said Ag Teacher and FFA Sponsor, Julie Zeigler. “We appreciate the continued support from our families and community members.”

All proceeds from the sale will support Pioneer FFA programs and future student learning opportunities.

The Pioneer FFA Chapter encourages all community members to attend and support student efforts while preparing their gardens for the upcoming season.
