A Year with Frog and Toad Kids – LJHS Musical

Leap into Friendship and Fun: “A Year with Frog and Toad Kids” Hops onto the McHale PAC Stage!

Logansport, Indiana – On February 6th at 7 p.m. and February 7th at 2 p.m., the Logansport Junior High Theatre invites you to McHale Performing Arts Center for a delightful journey through the seasons with “A Year with Frog and Toad KIDS.”

Based on Arnold Lobel’s beloved books, this musical is a heartwarming tale of two friends who embrace each other’s differences and share life’s little joys. Under the direction of Jeremy Leazenby Bruce, with music direction by Angela Ticen, this production brings a jazzy, upbeat score and plenty of charm to the stage.

Starring Gwendalyn Miller as Frog and Gwendolyn Kitchel as Toad, the cast also features Kendall Hayes, Natasha Finney, Alyssa Gellinger, and Iris King as our lively birds; Clare Muller, Azucena Baez, and Gennalis Polanco as the charming snails; and Elizabeth Rohde as our friendly turtle. Lily Galbreath shines as the Mouse, and Natasha Finney also appears as the Lizard. Petra Hernandez and Farrah Fry double as Squirrels and Moles, joined by D’joulie Keryssa Mercier and Colton Fultz.

Our talented crew and ensemble include Pharyn Ely, Delany Smith, and Percy Parkavich, who help bring this whimsical world to life. Together, they’ll take you on a journey of friendship, from baking cookies to sledding down snowy hills, proving that the smallest moments can be the most meaningful.
