WORLD POOL TRICK SHOT CHAMPION!

LOGANSPORT’S WORLD CHAMPION is Paul Gerni, who started playing pool in Logansport at the age of six and then started winning an astounding string of twenty-two consecutive world trick shot championships as a professional (of course, after he graduated from LHS and Purdue University). Known around the world as “The Ambassador of Pool”, Paul has promoted the sport in his shows in 53 countries around the world.

He will be performing his famous trick shots, including some that were used in TV shows and commercials, and he invites all who love playing pool to come see his hour long show, a fundraiser that will be held at St.  James Lutheran Church at 9th & Spear Streets in Logansport (on the same block as the Post Office).

He will make TWO public appearances and display an amazing array of trick shots like the ones he has shown on ESPN and in his travels around the globe.

On Saturday, Sept. 16th at 2 p.m. he will do a 1-hour show of trick and fancy shots at the St. James Lutheran Church at 9th & Spear Streets in Logansport.  The best part is that it is the very same table on which he first hit pool balls back in 1954. Since his show is a fundraiser, there is a small $10 fee for a pre-purchased ticket, or you may pay $15 at the door on the day of the show. Paul has said there will be billiard memorabilia on hand, like personally autographed posters and cue balls and more. He will share some stories and helpful hints for pool players and of course dazzle those present with his trick shots and humor.

It is a positive and family-friendly show, so all ages are allowed. There will also be some refreshments available to buy there at his show.
