World Pool Trick Shot Champion

LOGANSPORT’S WORLD CHAMPION is Paul Gerni, who started playing pool in Logansport at the age of six and then, after college, started winning a most astounding string of twenty-two consecutive world trick shot championships as a professional (of course, after he graduated from LHS and Purdue University). Known around the world as “The Ambassador of Pool”, Paul has promoted the sport in his shows in 53 countries around the world.

He will be performing his famous trick shots, including some that were used in TV shows and commercials, and he invites all who love playing pool to come see his hour long Sunday afternoon show, a fundraiser that will be held at Shooters in Logansport (corner of 17th and Erie Avenue).

This event is made possible by the local area merchants, who support Paul Gerni’s various fundraising efforts for the  community.

He will make TWO public appearances on that weekend, and will display an amazing array of trick shots like the ones he has shown on ESPN and in his travels around the globe.

On Sunday, Sept. 17th at 2 p.m. he will do a 1-hour show of trick and fancy shots at the Shooters bar and grill in Logansport. The good folks at Shooters have agreed to open their doors at 12 noon for a nice pre-show dinner special, and to give guests a chance to look at pool memorabilia items and bid on some silent auction items.

Since this show is a fundraiser, like all of Paul Gerni’s appearances, there is a fee of $20 fee for a pre-purchased ticket, or you may pay $25 at the door on the day of the show.  Last April, for Paul’s show, every seat was filled, and there were still quite a few people standing!  Paul has said he will personally autographed posters, cues, and cue balls and more. In his show, he will share some stories, add helpful hints for pool players, and of course dazzle those present with his trick shots and humor.

All of Paul Gerni’s shows are positive and family-friendly.  The helpful Shooters staff will help you with all your drink and food choices before and during the show.
