LOGANSPORT, Ind. – If you’re ready to take the next step in your career advancement, it may be time to consider the short-term options at Ivy Tech Community College.

Ivy Tech’s next Tuesday@TheTech on the Logansport Campus is set for 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, March 28, at the campus at 1 Ivy Tech Way. It will focus on the non-credit programs and short-term certificates that provide an affordable option for the next step in your career. The credentials you earn can easily stack into a technical certificate or associate degree in fields like IT, healthcare, building and construction, advanced manufacturing, and transportation and logistics.

“By increasing your skills through short-term trainings, you can gain more industry knowledge and improve your opportunities for career advancement and higher wages,” said Katie Loman, executive director of Ivy+ Career Link for the Kokomo Service Area. “Popular courses include CDL-A for big-rig truck drivers, Essential Skills for Managers, and ServSafe Food Management certification preparation.”

This is one of a series of monthly events aimed at sharing Ivy Tech’s high-tech facilities and broad range of programming in the Kokomo Service Area, which includes Cass, Fulton, Howard, Miami, Pulaski and Tipton counties.
