Town Hall with 2024 Democrat Candidates

The public is invited to attend a November 2024 candidate town hall August 14, 2024, at 6 pm at the historic Amelio’s on the River. Indiana candidate for Governor Jennifer McCormick will be in attendance, along with these 2024 candidates: Terry Goodin, Lt. Governor, Valery McCray, US Senate, Destiny Wells, Attorney General, Lori Camp, US House of Representatives, District 2, Derreck Holder, US House of Representatives, District 4, Rick Rouser, Indiana House District 23, Carl Seese, Indiana House District 38, Tim Eaton, Cass County Commissioner and John Cole, Cass County Council.

Topics on the agenda are:

Indiana’s lack of a water resource plan
Teachers leaving the state in record numbers and the defunding of public education
Indiana’s poor health rankings, including the abysmal maternal mortality and infant mortality rankings
The state’s opioid crisis and lack of mental health and substance abuse resources
20-years of one party rule and the race to the bottom
A road map to improve Hoosier’s quality of life
An opportunity to meet the Democrat candidates running on the 2024 ballot and hear their vision for Indiana’s future
