Richard W. Cassidy Jr. “Thanks for Giving” Award

The Cass County Community Foundation will honor John and Anita Hillis with the Richard W. Cassidy Jr. “Thanks for Giving” Award on Saturday, November 23^rd at the Vibrant Events Center at 6:30p.m. The Logansport couple will receive the award for their outstanding, tireless service to the Cass County community. The award was established in 2001 in honor of Richard W. Cassidy Jr., an original CCCF board member and longtime supporter of charitable and volunteer works in Cass County.

The award is not presented every year and this year’s recipients are the 15th since its inception. The award is given to an individual or individuals, who through their unselfish and outstanding commitment of time, talent and treasure, embodies the CCCF spirit of giving. Previous winners of the award include Steve Russell, Jason Mitchell, Richard Copeland, Judge Julian and Sue Ridlen, Bill Fouts, Dick Rusk, Mike McCord, Richard Scott, George Stephenson, Phyllis Kingery, Jane Miller, Ted Blank, Laura Cain, and the 1993 CCCF Board of Directors.
