Pot Luck Carry-in Dinner at St. James

Do you have a favorite recipe or food dish you like to share with friends? Most of us can easily think of several.

Well, you are invited to join us at St. James Lutheran Church at Ninth & Spear Streets for a wonderful pot luck carry-in dinner. Just bring a favorite dish or dessert and drop it off at the kitchen in St. James’ Parish Hall, at 10:15 AM, where the ladies there will take care of your food and present it along with a few dozen other items served at the dinner. Then join us for the 10:30 AM church service. After church we will all gather in the Parish Hall to taste some great food and enjoy each other’s company. You’ll enjoy making friends with members of this congregation since they are all likeable, positive, and freindly.

We will have two speakers at this carry-in, Cindy Ringer from Monticello, and Ben Hunter of Kokomo.  Both are from Thrivent Financial.  They will help us to make smart financial decisions in these days ahead when it could be more important than ever before.
