This will be a Jeep and motorcycle ride, however any vehicle is welcome to come show support!

There will also be a meal and silent auction at the Lewis Cass Jr.Sr. High School, along with Mental Health/Suicide related resources.

This year money that is raised will go into a scholarship for a Band student at Lewis Cass.

Project HOPE is organizing an event in memory of Parker Abbott, while bringing awareness for suicide prevention. Our organization’s mission is ‘help other people everyday‘ by connecting them with resources they need to inspire hope for their future. Last July tragedy struck, again, when a 14-year-old boy took his life. With September being Suicide Prevention Month, we felt it would be the perfect time to raise awareness for this very real and scary issue that is continuing to occur again and again. We must promote and educate on suicide prevention! Suicide is becoming way too common. It is the second leading cause of death in youth ages 15-19 and the leading cause of death for 14-year-olds. We must take action.

Your involvement with us for the Parker Abbott Memorial Ride is an opportunity for your organization to receive exposure and to join other individuals and organizations in our community to not only provide resources on mental health awareness and suicide prevention, but also raise money for a Lewis Cass band student in Parker Abbott’s name. Parker loved Band, music was his passion. The friends he made in band were like family. Last year we raised money to help his family pay for expenses acquired by this tragedy. This year we have decided to start a scholarship in his name. We want Parker’s name to live on. We want to share his story with others and put an end to the stigma associated with mental illness and suicide, while also connecting people with resources to help!

Community sponsors can help us have a successful event by:
Being a co-sponsor or event supporter through a monetary donation. Your company logo will be placed on materials to promote the event.
Donate toward the silent auction or raffle.
Share the event with your contacts. Help us share suicide prevention messaging.
Purchase a luminaria in honor of a survivor or in memory of someone no longer here because of suicide.
Help us spread the word, lets beat the stigma associated with mental illness and suicide.

Beyond your sponsorship, we welcome you to join us by participating in the Parker Abbott Memorial Ride. You do not have to ride at the event, you are welcome to come out, purchase a meal and listen to the live music we will have after the ride.
