Let’s Talk Taxes: An In-Person Business Roundtable Discussion
Hoosier Heartland Indiana Small Business Development Center will host “Let’s Talk Taxes: An In-Person Business Roundtable Discussion” on Thursday, Nov. 16, at 6 p/m. at the Black Dog Coffee in Logansport, Indiana. The subject of this event is “business taxes,” a topic of importance for start-ups and existing businesses. Business owners and entrepreneurs are encouraged to attend this roundtable to gain valuable insights and expert guidance on navigating the complex landscape of business taxes.
The event’s featured speaker is Barry Baldwin, a certified public accountant with experience with business taxes. His expertise will provide attendees with a clear understanding of tax practices and their impact on business operations. Jordan Jicha, Regional Director of HHISBDC, highlights the importance of businesses being aware of tax practices, stating, “Taxes are an integral part of running a business. Staying informed and compliant is key to the financial health of your enterprise.”
Lita Rouser, a Business Advisor at HHISBDC and guest speaker adds, “Obtaining information and insights from a tax professional is the best way to ensure that your business remains in good standing. Participants will gain knowledge to help them effectively manage their business finances while staying compliant with tax regulations.
