Gov. Mike Braun calls special session to redraw Indiana’s congressional maps

Governor Braun announced that he is calling the legislature back into a special session on redistricting on November 3.

For weeks, the Governor said he would listen to Hoosier lawmakers. Despite the Senate saying it still doesn’t have the votes, Governor Braun called a special session anyway. Governor Braun is a cheater and a liar.

At a time when Hoosiers on SNAP will receive no benefits for November, Mike Braun has decided to spend $32,000 of your tax dollars every day on a costly special session.

Hoosiers want to see our lawmakers focused on the issues: stagnating wages, healthcare premiums skyrocketing, childcare centers closing, and the kitchen table issues impacting families. Instead, Republicans are focused on partisan power grabs.

Trump is bailing out Argentina at the expense of Hoosier farmers, but Governor Braun thinks Hoosiers have $32,000 a day to pay for his partisan power grabs.
