Community Meeting
The Cass County Re-Imagined Rural Empowerment & Development Program is a county-wide initiative designed to foster coordination, enhance collaboration, and build capacity across Cass County, Indiana. Selected in December 2024 by the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs, the Cass County program aims to build on past development efforts and introduce innovative strategies that showcase the unique qualities of the county. Ultimately, it seeks to strengthen community pride and connections throughout all towns and rural areas in our county.
A community-wide meeting, hosted by the Cass County Re-Imagined RED Marketing Task Force, will be held on Tuesday, November 4, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Ember Wood Event Center, located at 5428 S. CR 600 E., Walton, Indiana.
The purpose of this meeting is to learn more about community initiatives, receive updates on projects currently underway in Cass County, and engage in discussions with local leaders. The public is invited to attend, and light refreshments will be available.
