Auditions for Young Frankenstein
The musical Young Frankenstein, written by Mel Brooks and Thomas Meehan, is based on the 1974 comedy film of the same name. The story follows Dr. Frederick Frankenstein as he inherits his grandfather’s estate and attempts to reanimate a corpse, with the help of his assistant Inga, servant Igor, and fiancée Elizabeth. The experiment is successful, but leads to comedic chaos and unexpected consequences.
