SUMMARY:Deaccessioned Book Sale
DESCRIPTION:\n\nCCHS has been working diligently to consolidate, organize and record our book collection in the Castaldi Family History Center, our library and archive service at the Cass County Museum.\nWe are managing our book collection according to ethical guidelines set forth by the American Alliance of Museums. We have already distributed many surplus and off-mission books to other appropriate historical societies and the Indiana State Library.\nBooks that we have deemed clear to sell will be made available to the public at Cass County Museum through October 1. Museum is open Tuesday – Thursday 10 AM to 4 PM. All proceeds from our book sale will be restricted for use exclusively on future CCHS collections management or acquisitions.\nPlease contact Heather Fouts, CCHS Executive Director, hfouts@casscountyhistory.org or 574-753-3866 with any questions or concerns regarding our process or the sale.\n
