SUMMARY:Public Meeting for Logansport Parks Grant Application
DESCRIPTION:The Logansport Parks & Recreation Board will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, July 8th at 5:30 p.m. in the Common Council Chambers of the City Building at 601 East Broadway, Logansport, Indiana.\nThe topic of discussion will focus on the submission of a federal grant application for the Land & Water Conservation Fund regarding the proposed renovations at Riverside Park. Renovations to be discussed include a new playground, an event pavilion, a perimeter trail surrounding a multi-use field, additional parking, access to the Eel River via a boardwalk and/or an improved public access site for kayaks and canoes.\nIn addition, the Logansport Parks Department will provide opportunities for the public to share their ideas and concerns for the project at the July 4th celebration at Riverside Park, and at the Cass County 4H Fair July 6th and 7th at the Logansport Re-Imagined booth.
