SUMMARY:Auditions for “From Dark Pages”
DESCRIPTION:\n\nThis October Cass County Historical Society will debut “From Dark Pages” theatric mystery tours at Long Home Museum. Be amongst the first to perform in what is sure to become a spooky season tradition for our community. Our production welcomes the talent of directors Aubrey Brock and Morgan McDonough, who will host auditions on June 1, 2026, 5-8 PM at the Long Home Museum.\nFrom Dark Pages is set in 1888, during a time in history when the Long Home Museum is still just a family residence, Gothic Literature is at it’s peak, and the nefarious Jack the Ripper is on the loose killing young women in Whitechapel England.\nRoles include famous authors and their creations (example: Mary Shelley and Frankenstein), a queen, a fortune teller and mystic, a “lady of the night” and of course, our villain. Volunteer actors must be age 18+ to participate without adult permission and supervision. Actors will be called upon to assist with other elements of the show, including set up, tear down and some prop and costume provision.\nShows take place at Long Home Museum on evenings of October 2nd, 3rd, 9th, and 10th, 2026. More details will be shared at the auditions.
