DESCRIPTION:\nLogansport Parks & Recreation will host Earth Day Fest on Saturday, April 18 from 10 AM to 2 PM at Riverside Park, inviting the community to celebrate Earth Day with hands-on activities, environmental education, and free family fun.\nEarth Day Fest is a partnership between Logansport Parks & Recreation Department and Cass County Soil and Water Conservation District, bringing together local environmental organizations and resources to help residents learn more about protecting and caring for the planet.\nThe event will feature a variety of environmental booths offering information, demonstrations, and resources related to conservation, sustainability, and local environmental efforts. Families can explore at their own pace while engaging with organizations focused on soil, water, wildlife, and environmental stewardship. In addition to educational opportunities, Earth Day Fest will include free activities for all ages, with the Riverside Park carousel open throughout the event, creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere that blends learning with play.\n“Earth Day Fest is about celebrating our planet in a way that’s accessible and fun,” said Recreation Director Jacqueline Dwigans-Merritt. “We’re excited to partner with Cass County Soil and Water and bring together great local resources while also offering a joyful day in the park with free activities and carousel rides.”\nEarth Day Fest is free to attend and open to the public.
