Cancer Care Support Group
Have you or your family been affected by a diagnosis of cancer? Have you recently been diagnosed with cancer, or are currently having cancer treatment? Have you finished cancer treatment and feel like life is not the same? Then this support group might be for you. Logansport Memorial Hospital’s Cancer Care Center is offering a support group for men and women who have been affected by or diagnosed with cancer. This is a community-based, open group with the goal of providing information and support for patients, family members, and/or caregivers experiencing cancer care or treatment.Cancer survivors and friends of cancer patients are also welcome to attend.Guest speakers are regularly invited to talk on topics like diet and exercise, relaxation and meditation, and coping with ongoing treatment. Group discussions will also be included with time for sharing to talk about cancer-related issues that anyone in the group may be personally facing or experiencing. This group will be led by a licensed clinical social worker and co-facilitated by nurses and staff members from the Logansport Memorial Cancer Care Center.The support group will meet on the first Monday of each month.

LMH Cancer Care Center Lobby; Medical Office Building East –Lower Level
Medical Office Building East is located at 1025 Michigan Avenue in Logansport. Elevators in the main lobby will take you to the Lower Level, where you step out into the Cancer Care Center lobby. Refreshments will be provided at each support group meeting.
